Continuing a thread from yesterday's commentary, IMHO some readers seem to overreact to any hint of Emp's insecurities arising once more, when such self-critical behavior is much less prominent for the character than was once the case. A decade-plus worth of crippling self-doubt and nagging insecurities isn't something that she's going to overcome completely, okay? (In fact, a case could be made that she's gained confidence too quickly, given how little time has actually elapsed "in-world" since, jeez, the ninja attack at the end of vol. 3.)

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature?
