Panel 1: Too much dialogue in this one panel, but I can live with with it. Still, this page’s reveal might’ve worked better if I’d dispersed ol’ Willy Pete’s ode to the lost joys of eating over two or more pages.

Panel 2: Yeahp, this was another reason why Willy wanted to get his hands (or teeth) on another superhuman, as I believe might’ve been tangentially addressed in an earlier Empowered volume. (My apologies, folks, as I’m too tired and too far behind schedule on this commentary to go look up that reference, assuming that it even exists.)
