Panel 3: Nowadays, I’m much less fond of a heavily alliterative approach to the Blazing-Eyed Devilgoat’s dialogue, but I have to admit that I do quite like this particular 6-word "P"-based alliteration combo. (Or 7-word combo, depending on how you look at “pooh-poohing.”)

Panel 4: A rare direct hint as to how much time is passing in a given Empowered volume! So, apparently, volume 5 elapses over a period of a bit more than a week. The timeframes of future volumes generally get shorter and shorter, with the upcoming Empowered vol. 11 taking place over roughly 45 minutes or so of “real time.” (Contrast this with the untold months that I believe passed during vol. 1.)
