Note the “big head, narrow shoulders” look I’m using on the main Emp figure, here; I’ve drifted very far afield from this set of figure proportions with the softer, heavier version of Emp I draw nowadays.

Panel 1: Yeahp, akin to how the mecha in my 2007 Marvel miniseries Livewires dislike being referred to as “robots,” the Empverse’s Superdead similarly don’t appreciate being labeled as “zombies”—or the “Z-word,” as Hardkore refers to the term. 

Panel 6: Hey, look! I remembered that Maidman (in heels) is supposed to be a bit taller than Hardkore! Good catch, Decade-Ago Me!
