Panel 1: Deathmonger definitely wasn’t kidding when commenting “Very high degree of difficulty on this one” on the previous page, as the puppeted Size Queen would’ve needed extremely precise motor control to get that chain-swung skull to clip Spooky without smashing into “DM” as well. The wonders of “necrobiotech” and ultra-tech supervillainware ahoy, folks!

And yes, as seen with the earlier punch she received from Strapping Buck, Spooky presumably retains a high degree of magically enhanced strength and durability in combat; she’s no “glass cannon” along the lines of a low-hit-point D&D spellcaster, a riff which I’ve never quite understood being applied to superhero-milieu sorcerers. Not only can Spooky “buff herself” for defense, but she could just as well boost her strength to superhuman levels and slug it out hand-to-hand with foes—though, with that approach, her deliberately impractical footwear might become a problem. (She normally flies all the time, hence the less than tactically ideal platform shoes.)

Panel 4: Things are not looking good for the good guys, folks!

Today’s Patreon update: As it’s a Wednesday, time for the $5+ Patron tiers to get their weekly dose of commissioned damsel-in-distress content, along the same lines of the bondage commissions that eventually spawned Empowered.
