Panel 1: Amusingly enough (to me, at least), I belatedly noticed that this panel features the “big head, smaller body” artistic riff I often trotted out a decade ago, in that Size Queen’s detached skull arguably looks a bit oversized in comparison to the rest of her body.

UPDATE to the Patreon update (as of 10:38am EST): In fact, today on the ol' Patreon I'm continuing serialization of Dirty Pair: Quick & Dirty, an unpublished, 48-page story from 2003 written and drawn in a pencil-based, layout-page format that was the precursor to the art technique later used in Empowered.
