Panel 2: That “LUH LOVE” bit, as opposed to the more conventional, hyphenated “L-LOVE”, is probably appropriated from an old Alan Moore dialogue tic from the Swamp Thing era. What can I say? I like that riff, folks, though I only rarely deploy it.

Panel 3: Say hi yet again to Spooky’s Infernal Service Provider, folks, who will assume a larger role in a future arc—or arcs—in this series. (As I might have mentioned before, I’m not at all sure that I came up with the term “Infernal Service Provider”; I suspect that I might have borrowed the usage from a clever reader or reviewer.)
