Still sitting in the dark during a power outage, folks. Laptop’s down to an 18% charge—can I finish off this week’s commentaries before the battery finally succumbs?

Ehh, sound the dreaded Overdialoguing Alert on this page, especially for panels 3-5. Having three straight panels with—technically, at least—three word balloons in each one is waaaay too much wordiness. Trim it down, Decade-Ago Me! (Oops, too late.)

Then again, when I get contemporary art criticism on work from 20 or 30 years ago, I am occasionally tempted to reply, “Well, that’s certainly a valid critique; feel free to let 1997-Vintage Me know about this error, won’t you, given that Present-Day Me moved on from that approach decades ago?”

And that’s it for the scene in Emp’s bedroom, folks. Tomorrow we timejump back—in fact, forward—to the setting with Ninjette, Oyuki-chan & Ayakami Yukiko last seen 23-odd pages ago, for a sequence that will wrap up this chapter.
