Aaaaand we flashback to a scene from Ninjette's ninja-clan home in the wilds of New Jersey (presumably somewhere deep in the Pine Barrens).

Panel 2: Gotta say that Teenage Oyuki-chan's look and costume worked out pretty well. Note also that she was indeed addressing Ninjette as "Hime-sama" (princess) back in these days.

I had a bit more trouble with Teen Ninjette in this panel, though, as I think we had to shrink her head down in the production stage to avoid making her look too childlike. (She still looks a fair bit too young in panel 4's close-up, alas.)
