Wellp, that scene's about to pay off, folks. Note, of course, you might've had a better chance of remembering that scene if you'd read the book all at once, as it was originally intended to be consumed.

Panel 5: As we just saw with the use of eikyuu hinin no jutsu contraceptive magic on teen Oyuki, that squiggly symbol in Ninjette's word balloon indicates the verbal component of a ninja magic spell.

Panel 6: Uh oh!

Panel 7: Cue Ninjette's "gravedigger voice," as I once read a character's speech described in a crime novel a while back.
