Panel 2: Sound the dreaded Overdialoguing Alert, folks! Too much dialogue in this panel, true, but must admit that this example doesn’t bug me quite as much as other “overtexted” panels from this era.

Panel 3: Really riding that pony of the John Sterling Yankees radio call pretty hard in this story, gotta say.

On an artistic trivia note, the shading scheme I use for Emp’s supersuited behind is effective but frankly more than a bit repetitive. I’ve occasionally tried different lighting patterns, but the results have invariably been disappointing, so I’ve generally stuck with this “lit from one side” scheme. (In fact, I’d forgotten until writing this commentary that one of my secondary goals for life drawing was to develop s’more varied shading approaches for her butt, but I never really got around to doing much of such practice.)

Today’s Patreon Update: As this is a Monday, time for our weekly double dose of life drawings new-ish (2018) and old (2017), along with the high-res Photoshop raw scans for both of ‘em, available to all Patreon tiers.
