Panels 1-3: The rapid-fire "small panels, sound FX only" narrative approach worked nicely for this upper tier of panels, gotta say.

Panel 4: Couldn’t pull off Emp’s mildly tricky pose—or at least her legs—in this shot, which was supposed to convey that she’s leaning up against that post. (Not an easy pose, though, in Decade-Ago Me’s defense.)

Panels 6-7: Not sure that it’s quite as clear as I’d like that Flashback Emp is slamming her head against that utility pole out of sheer, humiliated frustration.
