Sudden scene change back to the story’s initial timeframe, folks!

Panel 3: Those hiragana in Ninjette’s dialogue read “IKUZO!”, which translates from Japanese as “Let’s go!” (I’m annoyed to admit that, later on in Empowered vol. 7, I screwed up the hiragana so it read incorrectly as “IKUSO!” I’ll likely fix said error when that webcomic page appears, unless I really have it out for Decade-Ago Me that week.)

Panel 5: Sound the “Lollipop Figure Proportions Alert” on the random stylistic flourish of cartoonishly bigheaded Emp in this panel. (Bigheaded, yes, but also a fair bit too small in the rack department. Random stylistic flourish ahoy, folks!)
