Panel 1: In case I’d not mentioned this fact lately, Emp’s intact supersuit is not only visually boring to me but, more importantly, very hard on my drawing hand when I try to render the g-d thing. (In other words, to hell with Emp’s intact supersuit.)

Panel 5: Let the dreaded Overdialoguing Alert sound, and sound loudly! AHOOGA! AHOOGA! I should’ve either ruthlessly trimmed cut Emp’s dialogue down to a single point or two, or dispersed this text over multiple pages. (The former approach would’ve been the way to go, I think.)

I do understand the impulse, though, as Decade-Ago Me probably didn’t feel like burning much more pagecount on this talk-heavy scene, and thus elected to cram its dialogue into text-heavy panels like this. (Presently, I’m trapped like a rat in the midst of a long, very important convo between Emp and Spooky in Empowered vol. 12, and I’m struggling grimly against the temptation to pump up the sequence’s text density in order to wrap up the g-d scene as quickly as possible.)
