Panel 1: Ol' "T-Stick" would've obvsly been well-served to lower her armor's g-d faceplate, but she clearly froze in the midst of violent action, unlike Emp. (For the record, her full supranym is "Thunderstick," though I never state that explicitly in the actual story.)

Panel 2: "KLUDD" is one of my favorite impact sound FX, but I strongly suspect I cribbed it from l'oeuvre de Frank Miller. (Same deal with panel 3's "WHDD".) My sound FX choices are quite frankly very, very repetitive, but the reality is that only a (very) limited range of written-out onomatopoeia "sound" acceptable to the exceedingly inscrutable algorithm in my head that determines which FX pass muster to me.
