Trying again: Wellp, after losing the last two work weeks to debilitating drawing-hand issues that have finally abated for the time being (*literally knocks on wood*), as I return to gingerly drawing Empowered vol. 12 pages I've been forced to reconsider my plans for the next few years of work. Lordy loo!

As noted previously, I'm clearly going to need to "go digital" in a more serious fashion for future projects that I'd be both writing and drawing. Beyond that, though, I'm also clearly going to need to get s'more writing-only comics projects a-rolling, just to give my perpetually ailing hand a bit of time away from the ol' drawing table—or the Cintiq tablet, as the case will (hopefully) be in the future.

Can't say that I'm all that fired up about the prospect of writing for other artists, TBH, though for a wholly non-creative reason: namely, in the last five years or so I've shown myself to be really, really inept at wrangling freelancers, as I am quite frankly godawful at the "traffic manager" aspects of functionally being an editor. More on this issue later, though, as I've just burned through my allotted hour-and-a-half of commentary-writin' time for this Sunday mornin'!

Next week on the webcomic serialization, brace for a touch of villainous monologuing and a big ol' dollop of serious harshness, okay?

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
