Panel 2: Though i didn't do a proper establishing shot for this setting, the environment just barely glimpsed in the background is loosely based on the classroom(s) from my mid-80s sojourn at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. (In fact, it is technically quite possible that this scene is actually taking place at the Kubert School.)

Panel 4: Oops, the Unnamed Art Teacher did kinda-sorta get a name, or a nickname at least—Ol' "You Betcha."
