Panel 1: Note that we're seeing another use of Spooky's "fusion overspell," as seen earlier in this sporadically (re)appearing COUNTER-FACTUAL SCENARIO—and as she just used in a much less appalling fashion to attract Hell's "cubicle security" and sacrifice herself. Note also that I reused the same shot of Spooky from the first "fusion overspell" image, adding only some new dialogue and a more scornful facial expression.

Panel 2: Cue rationalization, folks!

Panel 4: Taping a sign to Emp's "toothsome rump" (per the Caged Demonwolf)—while she's appearing to be topless, though I'd say that supersuit tatters are almost certainly still covering her up in front—seems to be pushing the ol' "Unwritten Rules" governing bad-guy interaction with superheroes just a tad. Then again, as Emp addresses in the spinoff prose-format experiment I Am Empowered that I've serialized on my Patreon from time to time, her reputation as a "bondage magnet" seems to doom her to "less-than" status (as opposed to other superheroines) in the eyes of rope-happy supervillains.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
