Wellp, as the book's final pages roll out this week, I'd hoped to address some sweeping issues of work process and life purpose that arose during the Empowered vol.8 Creative Peak Experience. Alas, guess what? As I'm writing these commentaries immediately after waking up and getting my caffeine on at 6:30am on a Sunday morning, I'm feeling none too contemplative or philosophical, so that ain't happening. I might try writing the rest of the week's commentaries later on in my workday, when I'm (hopefully) feeling a tad more awake and energetic and less, well, "sludge-brained."
Meanwhile, Meta Emp wraps up the book in classic Meta Emp fashion. Yay? Note that Your Mileage May Vary re: the upcoming vol. 9 being "mo' happy and less sappy," though.
Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new.
