Panel 4: As seen in key moments back in Empowered vol. 7 (such as "Die in a fire, Yuki-chan") those wacky squiggles indicating ninja magic at work are based on some pseudo-Sanskrit characters from one of my many, many (highly dubious) ninjutsu reference books.
