Panel 3: Gotta say that the emotionally brutal line "You just won't save me" holds up really well, especially as a harbinger of the truly heavy-duty tearjerkery unleashed upon the reader in the last act of this volume's story.

Panel 4: Aaaaaand there's one more Hell-related dialogue callback, to tie into the by-now-familiar recurring theme.
