Panels 1-2: Yeahp, Spooky was clearly quite startled to hear about Emp's unplanned trip to ol' Object 524... Wonder if this could be significant?

Panel 3: The image of Spooky having to use telekinesis to catch her coffee cup after dropping it still amuses me to no end.

On the "telekinesis" front, gotta say that I've always preferred the more obscure synonym "psychokinesis" after first encountering the term when reading Julian May's Many-Colored Land SF series back in high school. (Okay, fine, the actual series was referred to as the Saga of Pliocene Exile, it turns out.) Alas, "psychokinesis" never seems to have caught on with genre audiences, so I rarely use the term in mon oeuvre.

Along, those lines, the slang "isht" as used by Rubbernecker in panel 4 seems to have puzzled a few commenters when I used it earlier in the volume. I thought this cleaned-up alternative for "s**t" was common enough to still be recognizable; then again, "isht" was often used in "no bad words" contexts like sports-talk or morning-drive radio, which most readers perhaps aren't likely to have spent a bajillion-odd hours listening to as I have.
