Panel 1: A rather "big-headed" approach to Emp's figure in this shot, as well as with Spooky in panel 4; note that, quite shortly, we will see the single Empowered panel that began my long artistic journey away from the sporadically appearing "big head" riff and in a very different stylistic direction.

Panel 4: Note the very rare visual riff of Rivet's eyes being fully visible in this shot, as opposed to being partially obscured by the lower rim of this "browplate" as he's usually drawn; the idea, of course, is to convey that his eyes are "bugging out" in surprise.
