Wellp, the commentary I originally wrote for this page offline has turned out to be somehow, well, cursed, as it bollixes up the g-d page every time I try to copy/paste it in from Word. Mysterious! Also, incredibly g-d annoying!

Next week on the webcomic, this scene wraps up as the stage-setting first story of Empowered vol. 8 comes to an end. Yay! Time for the main event, folks!
