Panel 1: As addressed at least a time or two before in the series, Emp is once again frustrated in her continued attempts to explore this new frontier with Thugboy.

Panel 3: The rendering on that helmet worked out nicely, I gotta say.  BTW, not sure if that was the correct AD&D Armor Class for bronze armor, but chose to trust in my vague, decades-old recall of RPG minutiae rather than looking it up.

Next week on the webcomic, our deleted scene wraps up, leading to one more dig at ol' Ghost Writer before Empowered vol. 9's ginormous, sprawling, action-packed climactic story kicks off.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new.
