Whoof!

Panel 4: I think those odd "equal signs" on the cover for Jugganaut's bio at far right are supposed to indicate additional, smaller text, as the title "JUGGA= NOT=" seems a bit odd. Then again, who knows what I was thinking about such details 11 years ago when I drew this somewhat cursed page?

Speaking of which, I'm somewhat inclined to think that the Ghost Writer mask planted over his costume's belt really wasn't intended to convey an "eggplant emoji" phallic feel, but can't say for sure.

And thus mercifully ends the middle chapter "Power Stripped," folks. Tomorrow, we will begin jumping back to the "where's Emp?" cliffhanger that ended the first chapter as we kick off "Distress and the Damsel," the sprawling and action-packed story that takes up the rest of Empowered vol. 9's pagecount.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
