Panel 2: In the long-defunct prose experiment I Am Empowered from five or six years back (IIRC), I actually worked up most of a chapter covering Emp's experiences in the superhero draft before the entire project wheezed to a halt. I do plan to post that incomplete chapter on my Patreon down the road, though.

Next week on the webcomic, this recappish portion of vol. 9's opening chapter concludes with a (somewhat) more positive discussion of how Emp is perceived, as well as delineating her current state of uncertainty. Yay?

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new.
