Panel 1: Er, can't remember if I already put up a link last Friday, but the Fantasy Flamingo and the whole concept of fantasy-football-style leagues involving superheroes was introduced back in Empowered vol. 6.

Also on the linkage front, looks like the Distressed Emp image is referring to a scene glimpsed briefly back in vol. 1. (Bonus Emp/Thugboy sex scene on that page, BTW.) As for that image of our heroine seen here, gotta say that it hadn't occurred to me how much that Emp's hair partially covering her "boobas" (per highly technical vtuber jargon) is effectively part of her costume until, like here, I drew her hair completely out of the way; and then, well, Emp is definitely, ah, front and center in a prominent manner.

In theory, though I've (probably) never once showed her actually doing it, Emp must've been raking her hair forward to cover up all along, as her flaxen tresses would get blown back every damn time she blazes into action. Then again, this falls into the No-Prize-ish region of explaining how the heck her hair instantly resets into the simple "tucked behind her right ear" hairstyle after blowing wildly about in battle. In fact, stand by for more blather on this (non-)issue in tomorrow's commentary!

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
