Just now, I switched from inking wee details on an Empowered vol. 12 panel to finishing up this week's commentaries, and lemme tell ya, I can barely see the g-d screen. If I don't remember to look up occasionally from the drawing table I'm squinting at for hours at a time, my vision is temporarily blurred to hell and back when I look at anything more distant—even if the distance is as short as that between my face and my PC's monitor. (Longer distances are even blurrier and more indistinct, alas.)

Needless to say, I'm increasingly glad that my time on analog media is drawing to a close, as I'm essentially gonna be forced to "go digital" with any major projects after Empowered vol. 12's last hurrah of pencils and paper.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
