Panel 1: As I mentioned a while back, note that during this Star Chamber sequence I broke out white outlines around not only the characters but also their word balloons and along the inner edge of the panel gutters. That's a lot of outlines, folks, but I'd probably do it again. (Obvsly, Stigmata Hari would seriously be lost against that black backdrop otherwise.)

Panel 4: If you have a very, very sharp recollection of obscure references in this series, you miiiiight recall The Goddamn Maidman mentioning Glassbreak back in an scene early on in Empowered vol. 8.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new.
