Panel 1: Enjoy an exceedingly rare list of supranyms, folks! (Yeahp, the "WEE OOO" siren-headed fella is "Redd Alert.") Pretty sure that all these wacky names came from my ongoing master list of mostly goofy "cape-ranyms" that's been in development since the beginning of the series; last time I checked, said list was comprised of at least 12-15 single-spaced pages worked up over the years. BTW, a good chunk of the names were derived from combing through an old-school print dictionary and a copy of Roget's Thesaurus on patrol for viable words I could twist and mangle into punny supranyms.

Panel 3: From fairly early on in the series, I rather arbitrarily decided that "superchica" would be a common term used by English-speaking capes in the Empverse. Fun fact: I first stumbled across the term in a Google search done shortly after Empowered's imminent publication was announced in, I think, late 2006 or early 2007; a Spanish-language link mentioning the project used the word "superchica," which I immediately harvested for my own use.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used.
