A recent comment re: my Empowered Deluxe Edition annotations for this story alerted me to something I'd wholly forgotten—namely, that this chapter not only predates Empowered vol. 9, but even predates vol. 8 as well! (Gotta say, I thought these pages had an anomalously high degree of Big Pouty Lipped Emp, given the otherwise lower frequency of that distinctive artistic riff by this point in the series.) Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature?
