As I've mentioned, this increasingly aging Ghost Writer story felt outta sync with the more "Badass Emp" direction that the series was taking, but would only become more irrelevant if I waited much longer to publish the g-d thing, so into vol. 9 it went. Yay? (I worked in a few new plot points that tie in to the book's sprawling final chapter, for whatever that's worth.)

However, gotta say that this episode was one that really, really didn't work very well in the webcomic format, as Ghost Writer's epic case of foot-in-mouth disease wound up being drawn out over entire weeks on a page-a-day basis. Than again, as I've often noted, this series was originally intended to be consumed in 200-page doses, okay?

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature?
