Panel 2: Should note that, as I see it, Thugboy didn’t necessarily beat the cryovillain to death, though inflicting repeated head trauma on the dude could obviously be asking if not begging for dangerous complications. Then again, as I’ve mentioned, most superhero universes are extraordinarily sanguine about potential brain injuries, whilst heroes and villains are constantly being knocked unconscious in a notably—ahem—“unrealistic” manner.

Panel 3: Belatedly amused to notice that the iceberg headpieces of Icy Mike’s henchmen remind me of the vaguely piratical fast-food headwear that Judge Reinhold wore during a key scene in  the 80s classic flick Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
