Hope you enjoy this three-panel "progressive zoom-in" on the Caged Demonwolf, as it recurs on and off throughout the rest of Empowered, due to how nightmarishly time-consuming a task drawing this page turned out to be. I manually retraced and enlarged the first panel twice over by hand, as using a Photoshop scale enlargement (as is occasionally seen in comics) would've looked appallingly obvious to my eyes. The process proved perhaps unsurprisingly grinding and difficult, especially since the originasl version of this page features no effort-saving word balloons; I knew from the moment I started drawing this page that I was gonna reuse it repeatedly, with different dialogue each time.
