Who's the fish-headed fella, might you wonder?  Well, try to keep him in mind, as he doesn't appear until roughly halfway through the volume—but he does turn out to be pretty important to the book's storyline.

I don't think it's much of a SPOILER to hint that an angry and crying Sistah Spooky with mystic energy emanating from her fists might represent bad news indeed for Emp.  On a side note, though, I should note that my whimsical costume-design habit of slapping superheroes' names on their outfits (such as the SPOOKY emblazoned on her chest) has come back to bite me in the behind, as trying to squeeze that that g-d lettering into every image has turned out to be surprisingly difficult and annoying at times.  "Oh, so this is why artists don't usually put lettering on superhero costumes!"  In the future, I'll definitely try to stick with easier-to-draw graphics or single letters on the capes' goofy attire.
