Panel 2: I quite like the detail of Dr. Huge's headwear bumping up against the sill of the doorway above him, as an effective way to convey both his height and the height of Rivet in the foreground.

Panel 3: As many of you know—and as I have detailed in previous commentaries—this hulking doctor's name is derived from one of the so-called Nine Billion Names of David Ryder from MST3K's version of the godawful but weirdly compelling SF flick Space Mutiny.

Whatever might he mean by "bargainer," might you ask?  While I can't claim that you'll find out the answer on the next page, rest assured that you'll learn what goofiness is afoot before too long.
