Panel 2: Gotta say that the peculiar "lit from within" visual riff I'm using for Phallik's eyesockets works surprisingly well, even if it's pointedly—ahem—"unrealistic."

Panel 4: I do still like the glowing trail off the spearhead, which helps add clarifying movement to what would otherwise be a relatively static pose for ol' Phallik.

Panel 5: Believe it or not, Emp's line of dialogue from this panel was the original title of this story, as opposed to the even more colorful one I wound up using.
