UPDATE: To answer questions in the comments, the Demonwolf's closing line about "FEET TWO" is not misspelled. As is his wont, he was restating the conventional "TWO FEET" with the reversed "FEET TWO," along the lines of the flipped word order of "THE POWER COSMIC" and so on. Might've worked more clearly if I used a straight-up adjective instead of "TWO," though.

Anyhoo, something just dawned on me re: the living-room sleeping arrangements of the Caged Demonwolf and Ninjette—though I suspect the former doesn’t sleep, as such. (Or does he…?) What I realized is that the Demonwolf must, apparently, shut up for entire hours at a time to allow Kozue to get some damn sleep. Remarkable!

Alternatively, I find it entirely likely that the Demonwolf’s alien cage might well have volume controls—but would Emp have figured out how to use them? Would she even dare to experiment with the power-draining bondage gear’s indecipherable displays and panels, lest she accidentally uncage the fell beast?
