Panel 1: Props to Jeff Rice for constructing the SketchUp Model of this bathroom, which came in handy for drawing such a tile-infested environment. As mentioned a while back with the warehouse 3D model used in the Ayakami ninja fight, I didn’t use the model directly in the artwork, but traced off background images from carefully lined-up printouts before doing the final pencil artwork.

I was about to say that the Demonwolf was quoting the Windsong perfume commercial from my 70s childhood, only to realize I was thinking of the wrong ad. Shocking! (Windsong, for the record, was the one with the “I can’t seem to forget you; your Windsong stays on my mind” tagline.)

Nay, rather I was thinking of the rather infamous tagline from the 70s commercial for Jontue perfume—“Sensual, but not too far from innocence.” (Dang, but that raspy Voiceover Guy is killing it with his narration, however dubious the content. Hope you stacked that cash, Presumably Deceased Voiceover Guy!)

Next week, stand by for Kozue’s account of how she lost her virginity, an initially whimsical tale which (SPOILER ALERT?) gets very dark very quickly.

Today’s Patreon update: Probably another dose of Vintage Con Sketches, from the late-90s/early-2000s era when I was cranking out a ton of ’em.
