Panels 1 & 4: Turns out that drawing shots of a huffing, puffing, increasingly weary Ninjette is fairly tricky, given that I don’t especially care for how either of these panels turned out. Oh, well.

Panel 3: Ninjette’s thrashing legs add a surprisingly high degree of energy to an otherwise static shot, gotta say. Nicely done, Not Quite Decade-Ago Me! (Empowered vol. 7’s indicia lists its release date as May 2012, so I really should stop using the “Decade-Ago Me” bit.)

Panel 5: So, what is the point of this exercise, dear reader? Well, you’ll start getting the gist of Ninjette’s theory in the next two days of webcomic serialization, never fear.

Today’s Patreon update: As it’s a Wednesday, time for the $5+ Patron tiers to get their weekly dose of commissioned damsel-in-distress content, along the lines of the same material was eventually reworked into Empowered.
