Panel 2: I do like the intriguing background detail of that organic-looking blobby "wetware" mass among the other ultra-tech hardware. This miiiiiiiiight be a bit of advance foreshadowing of a similar BG riff from the end of the next Empowered volume, but I shan't engage in SPOILERS.

Panels 3-5: Spooky comes close to saying something, but loses her nerve with the last panel. Oh, well.

Panel 5: Aaaaand another overt and subtle "Hell" reference signals that this anthology-format opening story is about to switch over to a different scene next week. What will it be? What will it be????? Find out next Monday, folks.
