Behold, folks, the same “progressive zoom-in” page of artwork I’ve (re)used for the Caged Demonwolf ever since I first produced it way back in Empowered vol.3. I cannily drew the page without any dialogue, so I could later insert whatever Demonlupine ranting I cared to write in successive volumes.
Ehh, this is still a bit too much dialogue for a single page, TBH, though I might not sound the dreaded Overdialoguing Alert this time around.
Panel 1: The Demonwolf is, of course, referring in a most insensitive manner to Kurt Cobain and Nirvana’s famous MTV Unplugged performance with their cover of the Meat Puppets’ “Lake of Fire.” I’ve also belatedly realized that the gadget at the bottom of the panel is an old Playstation 2 remote used for DVD playback.
