Uh oh! Willy Pete alert! Note that WP’s first name is pronounced with a short i, rhyming with silly or hilly or billy—or hillbilly!—as opposed to the long-i “Wiley” (as in Coyote).

I mention said pronunciation because ol’ Willy Pete made it to the top of an interesting YouTube piece listing the “10 Most Brutal Comic Book Villains.” Hard to quibble with the Empverse’s walking atrocity making such a list, though I would have to quibble with the “Wiley” pronunciation used in the video. (Come to think of it, ol’ Willy himself might be offended by hearing such a version of his name, unless he’s a big fan of old school Warner Brothers animation.) Pity that they didn’t use any of the art from WP’s appearance in Empowered vol. 11, though, as IMHO that ink-based version arguably looks better than his earlier, pencil-based depictions.
